In addition to preparing my junior recital, I also had two chamber groups and two piano accompaniment roles going on. Though it was hard balancing all these things and managing my time and energy, I learned so much and had many wonderful experiences in these few months. At the end of the semester, my chamber group got to attend the 2019 Tianjin Chamber Music Festival, where we got to work with Tianjin Juilliard School visiting faculty and members of the Juilliard String Quartet. The one-week festival was an amazing experience for me. Right after the trip to Tianjin, I then had my junior recital, where I got to show my learning and growth from the past three years.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1132\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1132\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" href=\"\">Who helped you along the way?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1132\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1132\"><div style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 13px;\"><div style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 13px;\"><div style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 13px;\"><div class=\"\"><div class=\"\"><div class=\"\"><div class=\"\"><div class=\"\"><div class=\"\"><div class=\"\"><div class=\"\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt;\">My major teacher, Prof Thomas Hecht, has taught me and helped me a lot through these four years. In his studio, each major lesson and studio class is treated as a real performance so that we can have more effective lessons. I would also like to thank Prof Bernard Lanskey and Mr Lim Yan for their guidance in chamber and piano accompaniment. Since we have more freedom to manage our time and choose what we want to learn, we need to keep pushing ourselves.
