The YST Conservatory Recording Studio is well-known in the Singapore music landscape, and also allows our Audio Arts & Sciences students to gain first-hand production experience working with artists in the industry.

It features a 48 input SSL C200 digital console, TC6000, ProTools Ultimate and a rich microphone collection. It is linked to the Conservatory Concert Hall as well as to the Steven Baxter Recital Studio and Conservatory Orchestra Hall. The latest studio diffusion technology from RPG Diffusor Inc. makes this floating-construction, variable acoustical environment extremely ideal for both classical and modern music production.

Our newly installed Dolby certified Atmos Studio, featuring a 9.1.4 monitoring system with Protools Ultimate software and Dolby Atmos RMU hardware at its heart, is the first studio of its kind in an educational institution in Singapore.
