ABOUT THIS EVENT

The voice literature students and voice majors explore the unique relationships which Schubert had with his poets. From direct daily contact to distant awe and reverence, a multitude of poets inspired Schubert through their poetry. Learn about the relationship of Goethe and Schiller and their impact on Schubert throughout his life, Mayrhofer’s early influences on the young Schubert, Rellstab’s later pull on the established composer and many more.
