Sound is generally known to be a result of vibration, but is it known to be capable of producing colour? _Painting Sounds_ aims to explore the possibilities of colours that sounds (in the form of music) can produce. This exploration will be based on repertoire from the flute and bassoon as they possess extreme contrasts in character, yet are able to blend together and produce a new palette of colours.
