ABOUT THIS EVENT
As the title suggests, this programme was inspired by the flavorful contrasts brought about by an interesting collaboration by the T’ang Quartet together with esteemed members of the YST faculty and successful alumni.
The “Salt and Pepper” analogy playfully depicts a plethora of fascinating connections between the young and the seasoned, the new and the old, as well as the vast diversity of pitch range, textures and artistic styles.
Consisting of a quintet, sextet and septet, this programme also holds much significant meaning for the performers as the family of YST faculty and alumni, alumni-turned-faculty and alumni-turned-colleagues, are reunited to make music together.
