ABOUT THIS EVENT

After a series of preliminary and final rounds, where YST second and third-year students competed within their instrumental family groupings, three winners emerged! They will perform their chosen concerto with the Conservatory Orchestra in a series of showcases.

Violinist Chang Qian will start the Conservatory Concerto Showcase with Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy, Op. 46. She will be accompanied by the Conservatory Orchestra under the baton of Principal Conductor Jason Lai.
