ABOUT THE ARTIST
The Collenbusch Quartet, comprising members of the Dresden Philharmonic, is named after the Dresden art lover and patron Friedrich Adolph Collenbusch (1841-1921). Their programs cover the entire range of quartet literature up to contemporary works – in April 2016 they opened a new series of programs by the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra at Wackerbarth Castle with a “Philharmonic Serenade”.
Dresden Philharmonic principal clarinettist Daniel Hochstöger joins the Collenbusch Quartet in recital.
