ABOUT THIS EVENT

This season, ACM’s Lunchtime Concerts will come to you virtually. Enjoy a livestream of enchanting and thought-provoking music brought to you by the students and faculty from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.

30 Oct: Drawing inspiration from ACM’s collection of stories and artefacts, an unorthodox trio, consisting of Karst De Jong (keyboards), Tony Makarome (bass and mridangam), and Syafiqah ‘Adha Sallehin (accordion and rebana) presents original compositions and improvisations virtually. Drawing from their diverse cultural and musical backgrounds, the performers will create a sound world that evokes the imagination of subjects, ranging from 14th century Temasek bazaars to maritime history, international trade and artworks.

Performances take place every Friday from 12.30pm, from 2 October to 13 November, coming live to you from the ACM Facebook page.
