György Kurtág’s “Selections from Játékok” presents intricate musical puzzles, while Riccardo Nova’s “Ma’s Sequence 8” blends European classical and Carnatic influences in a captivating fusion. Gerhard Stäbler’s “pieces chaudes” ignites the stage with fiery textures, and Canat de Chizy’s “Sextuor à cordes” weaves a rich tapestry of strings. Thomas Demenga’s “Duo? O, Du” adds a touch of groove and fun to the afternoon, and Edgard Varèse’s “Octandre” closes the performance with a dynamic interplay of sound.
