ABOUT THIS EVENT
The French greats of the 19th and 20th centuries have left us a multitude of beautiful mélodies which have gained the adoration of singers and audiences alike. In this voice discovery series, we will explore the motivations and inspirations for this wonderful genre and ‘discover’ how these influences helped develop the mélodie into the genre which we love today. Join the voice majors for this lecture-recital which will include works by Fauré, Debussy, Chausson and others.
