ABOUT THIS EVENT
Students from the NUS Symphony Orchestra (NUSSO) and YST Orchestral Institute come together in a side by side concert for the first time, united by a shared love for music as they perform orchestral classics, conducted by Assoc Prof Chan Tze Law (Vice Dean at both YST and the NUS Centre for the Arts).
For years now, NUSSO and student soloists from YST have collaborated in the yearly Miniatures chamber concerts. In celebration of the deepening relationship between YST and CFA, this concert takes the collaboration to the next level in a programme of symphonic classics reprising the YST orchestra’s inaugural concert just over 20 years ago.
