The YSTCM World Music Ensemble is proud to present “Nusantara Interlocks II”, a showcase of music from the world of Malay kompang and Indonesian Balinese Gamelan! Immerse yourself in the sounds of the nusantara, as the students-turned-musicians perform a variety of pieces ranging from the traditional to the contemporary. This showcase features the exciting Malay kompang and Balinese beleganjur processions, as well as a student composition and also a special mixed ensemble performance of a Malay folksong!
