ABOUT THIS EVENT
“From the music of Rameau and Couperin to those of Ravel and Debussy, Classical music composers have very often turned towards nature for inspiration.
Here in the Trout Quintet, Schubert mirrors the visual imagery of the little trout swimming in the water, in its explorative adventures with nature, especially so in his incorporation of the same tune in his eponymous lieder for solo voice and piano. The pastoral and rustic qualities of countryside life are also present in several instances, melding together with the leaping playfulness of the trout and its friends.
Join us on a journey of exploring the evocations of nature, and stay till the end, because we have something very special for you!”
