ABOUT THIS EVENT
Joshua Tang and Chang Yun-Hua presents an oboe recital: Ravel’s ever popular Le Tombeau de Couperin exists in various forms; this version is inspired by Ravel’s orchestration which features the oboe in prominence. Martinu’s oboe concerto represents the best qualities of the composer, balancing between playful, lyrical, and emotional elements.
